Adaptive potential of 11,041 European Union cities
The COOLCITY Index 2026 Report is the first comprehensive analysis of the adaptive potential of over 11,000 cities in the European Union, collected on the COOLCITY Index platform. It highlights key patterns regarding blue-green infrastructure, urban overheating, and the sealing of urban areas across the EU. It compares cities in 27 countries and 4 regions, illustrating the interdependencies between them using an author typology.
